Benchmade 940 with closed back and Green Anodized Aluminum Scales.
Benchmade 943 with closed back and Black Anodized Aluminum Scales.
This Listing Is For The Scales Only, Knife is Not Included. These scales are designed for the Benchmade 940 / 943 with closed back and aluminum scales. These scales are Not a direct fit for 940-1 and 940-2 with an open back and barrel spacers. They will work with the 940-1 and 940-2 if you procure a proper set of replacement screws. 2-56 x 1/4" - 5/16" with the length of 5/16" being optimal for maximum thread engagement.
Black & White are for different views of the scale and not the scales the will receive. If you have any questions just ask.

A small amount of threadlocker should be present on each screw. Cleaning the screws and applying fresh removable threadlocker is recommended upon reassembly.
G10 is produced by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaking in epoxy resin, and compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures, and as a result materials and the scales produced from G10 can very slightly from set to set. Threadlocker is not needed or recommend for the two holes threaded into the G10 scale. While the G10 threads do not have the tensile strength of the threads in the aluminum scale they make up for it with their gripping ability (much like a nylon inserted lock nut).
